Participation & Collaboration

Every contribution has a role.

The foundation works through relationships rather than public appeals. If you would like to take part, this page explains the ways you might, and how to start a conversation.

Participation is not limited to funding. Different people bring different things, and an initiative is often strongest when several of those things are combined. What matters is that the contribution fits the need, and that the person making it is clear about what they are taking on.

Ways to contribute

Eight ways to take part.

You may recognise yourself in one of these, or in several. None is more valuable than the others.

  • 01

    Financial contributions

Contributing toward the agreed budget of a specific initiative.

  • 02

    Professional expertise

Offering knowledge from your field, whether legal, medical, technical or logistical.

  • 03

    Time and volunteer effort

Giving time to help carry an initiative from intention to completion.

  • 04

    Equipment and essential supplies

Providing devices, materials or supplies that an initiative requires.

  • 05

    Procurement and logistics

Identifying suppliers, negotiating purchases, arranging transport and delivery.

  • 06

    Project coordination

Taking responsibility for overseeing the agreed tasks of an initiative.

  • 07

    Partnerships

Connecting the network with organisations able to help in a specific area.

  • 08

    Practical problem-solving

Bringing the relationships and resourcefulness that move a project forward.

An invitation to talk, not a sign-up form.

The foundation is not a public fundraising platform. It does not offer automatic membership, and it cannot accept every offer of help. Because its work depends on trust and on the specifics of each initiative, participation begins with a conversation rather than a transaction.

If you would like to discuss a potential collaboration, tell us who you are, what you might be able to contribute, and what draws you to this work. There is no obligation on either side, and no expectation that a conversation will lead to a commitment.

The foundation does not currently publish a public donor registration system or an online payment mechanism. Any future process for financial contributions would be introduced only with appropriate legal and accounting arrangements in place.

Shared responsibility

Bring your strengths. We will find where they fit.

A short message is enough to begin. Tell us how you would like to help, and we will respond honestly about what is possible.
