Our Story

It began with a person, not a plan.

Most foundations start with a strategy. This one started with a mother, and with the quiet decision to keep helping after she was gone.

Alexander's mother died from breast cancer. In the time that followed, he did the only thing that made sense to him: he began to give. He supported cancer foundations, hospitals, and the causes that surround cancer patients and the people who care for them.

That giving was never only financial. It became a way of staying connected to something that mattered, and of turning grief into something that could do a little good in the world.

Over time, something shifted. Alexander began to notice that hardship does not only take one form. The need for help was not confined to any single illness or cause. People struggled with education, with access to technology, with the basic equipment that makes daily life possible. He came to understand that meaningful support can take many shapes: essential equipment, educational resources, practical assistance, and the kind of help that opens a door to a better future.

A widening circle

From one cause to a wider responsibility.

What began as a personal commitment to giving back developed into a larger vision: a network of people brought together by trust, compassion and shared responsibility, who are willing to do more than write a cheque.

The foundation took shape around that idea. Not a machine for collecting donations, but a group of people who know one another, care about similar things, and are prepared to take part in making them happen.

His mother's memory remains at the heart of why the journey began. The wider mission reflects the belief that we can make a difference when we combine resources with personal involvement and a genuine willingness to help.

AlexanderB Foundation exists to carry that belief forward. It is a young initiative, and it is honest about that. It has no completed programmes to point to yet, no long history of grants, and no statistics to impress with. What it has is a clear purpose, a set of principles, and a willingness to work carefully and openly as it grows.

The foundation would rather earn trust slowly, by doing a few things properly, than claim more than it can yet deliver.

Where this site describes the foundation's model, it describes intentions and principles rather than completed activity. Verified organisational details will be published only once they have been confirmed.
